Tourist areas of the municipalities of Bead and Baez again come together at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid – Fitter – as unique and singular fate that made them valid title of World Heritage by Unison 2003. The goal is to continue to promote these two cities in recent years are taking a strategic location as a tourist destination of average cities of inland Andalusia.
Fitter Congress starts Wednesday with the participation for the fourth consecutive year, the City of Bead, and the second for the city of Baez. This is an event aimed at tourism industry conferences, meetings and incentives, in which both councils have previously agreed agenda of twenty-one appointments with agents and tour operators in the sector, both nationally and internationally.
They are promoting their unique areas as ideal places for companies and groups can hold meetings and incentive travel. To this end, both councils will include material to promote these areas as well as the guide of Tourist Resources in both cities.
As stated by the Councilor for Tourism in the city of Baez, Beatriz Martin, a destination for congresses to establish itself as one of the main stakes in the Sustainable Tourism Initiative Bead and Baez, Open Museum of the Renaissance, which last December agreement was signed between the Government of Andalusia and the Tourist Development Association of Bead and Baez, which brings public and private entities in both cities, for the implementation of a total of 47 projects with an investment of 10.5 million euros.
For his part, Councilor for Tourism of Bead, Mercedes Rubio, has emphasized “the opportunity to leverage our unique and charming spaces, and who now seek the organizers of the meetings industry who want to stay away from large centers conferences and standardized.”
For Rubio, “the rich historic, architectural, food, crafts and culture of Bead and Baez are presented as added values that are highly valued by this new trend for the development of medium and small conferences.”
On the other hand, from 19 to 23 January will take place Fitter2011, to be held, like every year at the fairground Juan Carlos I in Madrid. The municipalities of Bead and Baez will be present as co-exhibitors at the Provincial Council with a counter itself under the slogan Bead and Baez, a World Heritage Site in the central aisle of Hall 3, which will once again space to encompass all the tourist attractions in Spain.
