Sevilla is one of the most important cities in Spain, and culturally is one of the most recognized in the European continent. It’s rich history, architecture and culture have become a destination for lovers of travel and tourism.

Every day, thousands of people come to this city to enjoy some of the most important historical monuments. And UNESCO has recognized some of the most impressive buildings of the city of Seville and the Province. Then we’ll tell you what they are.

Cathedral, Alcázar and Archive de Indies: Three of the most impressive buildings in Seville and are located in the heart of the city. The Cathedral is known for being the largest Gothic church in the world and be one of the main architectural features of the Christian faith. Construction began in 1401, on the foundations of an Arab mosque demolished. The Alcazar is the royal palace, which began its construction in Arab hands and was subsequently amended by the Christians.

It is one of the oldest active buildings in the world, which remains in operation since 720. The Archive of the Indies is precisely one recited in that saves the most important documents in the history of Spain.
